Romantik Hotel Zell am See

My recent dining experience at the Romantik hotel in Zell am See was nothing short of appalling. The facade of a charming establishment quickly crumbled into an unsettling reality of discrimination and abysmal customer service. Despite a decent meal, our group of six was forcibly ejected from the premises without a shred of warning. Beers were rudely confiscated, and the threat of involving the police was wielded against us like a weapon. The supposed waiter, who displayed a blatant lack of professionalism, added an extra layer of discomfort to an already distressing situation. The shocking revelation that a business club, the Lions Club, had complained about our supposed noise exposes a dark underbelly of discrimination. It appears that the Romantik hotel is more concerned with appeasing an elite clientele than treating all patrons with basic respect. This experience was an unmitigated disaster, highlighting the hotel's complete disregard for clear communication and fair treatment. Prospective guests, beware – the Romantik hotel in Zell am See seems to prioritize discriminatory practices over providing a welcoming and inclusive environment. Consider your options wisely before choosing to support an establishment that fails so miserably in its basic duty to its customers.

Perfect hotel in perfect place. We have spent 5 days there and i could not ask for more. Hotel is situated right in town center 2 min from the lake and 4 minutes to the ski gondola. Easily accesible in ski boots 😉. Hotel itself is perfect, very nice local decor, all facilities avaliable and in excellent condition, food outstanding, plentyful and good variety. All staff does go that extra mile to make sure your stay is great.

I am writing this review to counteract the 1* reviews by Robbert Spaargaren , Tom Scheffers & Tim Slegers- I was at the hotel that evening and the "group" was very noisy, rude and insensitive to the family ambience of the restaurant. (If you want a loud, shouty club atmosphere there are plenty of places in Zell) The management asked them to keep the noise down politely, which made them even louder and more disagreeable. Everyone in the Restaurant was commenting on their noise (Not just the lions club) . They should all be be embarrassed for being idiots and pushing the management to eject them - Instead they went on to all kinds of social media writing bad reviews in malice. After they left the management apologised to every table - an Irish band started playing and a lovely night was had by all - Good Riddance to Robbert, Tim and Tom and their disruptive friends !
